My Story
I am a figurative painter & printmaker.
An ardent humanist ... interested in delivering dialogue with the psychological landscapes of human emotions and the complexities of life.
Throughout my career, I have been particularly interested in archaic iconography but also deeply Influenced by contemporary Artists such as: Francis Bacon , R.B. Kitaj...and from the Bauhaus: Johannes Itten, Paul Klee & Joseph Albers.
And our own Canadian Emily Carr continues to enthral me!
