Josepha Van Den Anker Art Copyright Policy

Notification of Copyright Infringement

Josepha Van Den Anker Art Online ("JvdA Art") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same.  It is JvdA Art's policy, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or are repeatedly charged with infringing the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others. The Copyright Act is Canadian federal legislation that grants exclusive rights to creators of original literary , artistic, dramatic, and musical works, including computer programs and sound recordings, upon creation in a fixed form.  This framework provides rules for copyright protection, duration exceptions and encourages the creation and dissemination of knowledge while balancing creator rights with public access. Key aspects include copyright existing automatically, protecting the expression of an idea, and extending for the author's life plus 70 years.

Copyright  infringement 

The Service and all materials therein or transferred thereby, including, without limitation, software, images, text graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music and all intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of Josepha Van Den Anker. Except as explicitly provided herein, nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such intellectual Property Rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent modify, distribute, copy reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof.

When people reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or make derivative works of other people's original works of art without asking permission, they commit copyright infringement.

When a person uses content protected by copyright in a way that violates rights granted in the Copyright Act, for example by copying or communicating to the public a copyrighted work (all or a substantial part of it) without authorization from the owner of the copyright. (Mar 19, 2021)

Plagiarism, or directly copying someone else's work, is copyright infringement by illegally reproduced protected work.

Josepha Van Den Anker Art  will take whatever legal action, in its sole discretion, it deems appropriate to protect  against Copyright Infringement.
